Vodka · Guide
What makes a vodka truly luxurious?
Most vodka is made from whatever grain is cheapest and stripped until nothing remains. A luxury vodka begins the other way round, with a grain worth tasting.

The finest vodkas are made from a single, traceable grain. Zouk, Extill and Haute use organic Dańkowskie rye from one estate in Poland, a winter rye that rests under snow for at least eighty days. That rye gives a vodka with body and flavour: sweet, creamy and gently spicy rather than neutral.
Distillation matters too. Seven distillations, with the cut decided by hand, keep only the purest heart of the spirit. Filtration finishes the work: Extill passes seven times each through carbon, granite and quartz. Finally, a true luxury vodka adds nothing. No sugar, no glycerine and no flavourings. Serve it chilled and neat, and you can taste every one of these choices.
